Two dead in vic plane crash A passenger plane crashed, killing at least six people on board as it made a takeoff from Melbourne Airport, police said. "One person from the Airbus A320-200 plane (was) killed in the crash," she said. Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott said the dead were all on board. "Australia mourns the loss of a beautiful and intelligent woman, a flight attendant and a member of her crew - she will be deeply missed by all Australians," he tweeted.
